Family Planning & Female Health
Our practice nurses and doctors will give advice on all aspects of female health including pre-conception and menopausal problems. They will also discuss and fit caps and coils. Normally the initial appointment will be with the practice nurse.

Contraception & Sexual Health
For advice and/or management options we offer all methods of contraception including: Pills, Injections, Coils and Implants. We offer Counselling Pre-Coil and Implant fittings and removals. Coil Clinics are monthly and we offer regular Implant appts.
The majority of our Appts are telephone consultations so it’s helpful to have an up-to-date BP and weight for that Appt.
Some methods require Annual Reviews.

Peri/Menopause
For advice on symptoms and symptom control, your options for Complimentary Therapy, HRT, Vaginal Rings and Vaginal Pessaries, please book a Telephone Appt with the Specialist Practice Nurse to discuss. We offer regular Appts.
HRT should be reviewed Annually and if you change/start HRT, a review would be 3 months later to check on your symptom control.
Vaginal Rings should be reviewed/changed 6 – 12 monthly.

Cervical Screening
If you are aged from 25 to 64, including Lesbian, Bisexual, Transmen and Nonbinary people, who have a cervix, then you should attend a cervical screening test. This would be 3 yearly aged 25-49 and 5 yearly aged 50-64.
