What is Westongrove Partnership?
Westongrove Partnership comprises Bedgrove Surgery, Aston Clinton Surgery and Wendover Health Centre and was formed in 1998. By working together, rather than as isolated practices, we believe that we can more readily explore potential opportunities, share good practice and develop innovative ways of providing care across the locality.
Each site has a team of GP Partners & Salaried GPs that make up the Doctor team, along with a Nursing team and non-clinical staff. Please meet our Team.
Our aim is to encourage the good health and well-being of our patients by providing the highest standards of healthcare and a diversity of clinics appropriate to the needs of the community. Our highly-skilled, multidisciplinary professional Primary Health Care Team (PHCT) will promote health education and work with patients to achieve a standard of excellence that reflects our commitment to patient care. We endeavour to ensure that the service we provide is always delivered by the most appropriate member of our PHCT.
We use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We keep it current with any news, developments & details that are relevant to the practice & our patients.
Named Accountable GP
All current and new patients registered with Westongrove will be allocated a named GP.
If you would like to express a preference as to which GP you are assigned, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
Your accountable GP is responsible for your overall care at the practice, however you can still access care from our whole clinical team.
If you would like to know the name of your accountable GP, please ask at the reception desk.
All GP Practices are required to declare mean earnings (i.e. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working at this surgery in the last financial year (2014/15) was £47,274 before tax and National Insurance.
This is for 7 full time GPs, 16 part time GPs and 2 locums who worked in the practice for more than six months.
