This page provides information and a form to register yourself as a carer so we can offer you appropriate support
Why Register as a Carer?
If you register as a carer, it will enable us to support you in your caring role. What is offer can include the following:
- Annual Health Checks
- Annual Flu Jab and Covid-19 Boosters as advised
- Access to a Social Prescriber who may be able to support you in your caring role
- SIgnposting to other services that could help, such as support groups, days centres and respite care for the person you look after
- Help with advanced care planning for the person you care for
- Support with applying for assessment and benefit such as the carer’s assessment, carer’s allowance and blue badge parking
How to Register as a Carer
Do I have to Register as a Carer to Access Support?
You do not have to register as a carer to access support and benefits such as a carer’s assessment, young carer’s assessment or Carer’s Allowance. However, if you do register, you may be offered support with these applications and assessments.
