Appointments Information

We have a large team of Clinical Professionals ready to serve your healthcare needs.

In many instances a doctor is not the first point of call, but with many other healthcare professionals available, we aim to get you the right care you need.

To Request An Appointment

We want to make sure you get the right care from the right person at the right time. To do this, we have a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including GPs, specialist nurses, paramedics, and clinical pharmacists.

When you contact us, we’ll assess your needs to decide which member of our team is best placed to help you.

Requesting an Appointment is Simple

  1. Use our Online Form: This is the quickest and most efficient way to tell us what you need. It helps us gather all the information we need to help you properly.
  2. Call us if you need help: If you find it difficult to use the internet, don’t worry – give us a call on 01296 320384, and our reception team will fill the form in with you over the phone.
  3. Visit the surgery: You can to come into the surgery, where a receptionist can assist you in completing the form.

We know you want to know what’s happening with your request.

  • If you get in touch about a health concern before 5pm, we aim to contact you on the same day to explain the next steps.
  • For routine administrative questions (like about a sick note or referral), we aim to sort it out for you within 24 hours.

Important: For Urgent Medical Problems

If your concern is urgent and it is after 4pm, please call us on 01296 320384 instead of using the online form.

If it is a medical emergency (e.g., suspected stroke, heart attack, or serious injury), please call 999 immediately.

Medical Help when we are Closed

Our practice opening hours are 8:00am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. For any urgent medical query that cannot safely wait until we reopen, please contact the NHS 111 service. You can visit their website at 111.nhs.uk or call 111 free from any landline or mobile. For life-threatening emergencies, such as chest pain or severe bleeding, you should always call 999

Home Visits

Home visits are reserved for patients who are housebound or too unwell to attend the surgery.

They are not intended for those without transport. It is generally more beneficial for you to be seen at the surgery, where we have better facilities, diagnostic tools, and lighting to provide a more thorough assessment. Our doctors typically see four patients in the time it takes to conduct a single home visit.

If you require a home visit, please telephone the surgery 01296 320384 before 10:30 am if possible and provide your details to one of our receptionists who will complete an online form for you. The GP triage team will assess your form and decide if a home visit is necessary and assess the urgency of your situation.

If a home visit is needed, it may be carried out by either a paramedic or a doctor, depending on your specific needs.

Interpreting Service

If you require an interpreter for your appointment, please inform reception as soon as possible. Preferably, this should be as soon as you make an appointment with your clinician.
