We always try to see sick children as soon as possible, either here or at home, so please ring if you are at all worried about your child.
Bedgrove Surgery run a children’s surgery for patients registered at Bedgrove under the age of 16. This is for acute ailments, not for ongoing problems. Please register in person at reception by 8.50am and your child will be seen by a member of our clinical team as soon as possible during the morning surgery.
The health visitors run the Baby Clinics. No appointment is necessary and you are welcome to come for advice on anything to do with child care or to have your baby weighed. The clinics are held at:
- Bedgrove Surgery on Monday from 10.00am – 11.30pm.
- Aston Clinton Surgery every other Tuesday from 2.00pm – 3.00pm.
- Wendover Health Centre on Friday from 9.30pm – 11.30am.
Childrens Immunisation clinics are run at all three sites. You will be invited to attend with your child for vaccinations. If you think your child may have missed any injections, please let us know. It is essential for them to be given all the relevant immunisations in order to ensure they are fully protected.
Under-fives have their development checked periodically by the doctor or health visitor and you will automatically be sent an appointment.
