If you are thinking of travelling abroad and will need travel vaccinations, we require your completed travel assessment form at least 10-12 weeks before you wish to travel. It is very difficult to forecast demand for travel appointments, so whilst we endeavour to accomodate patients requests, there may be very busy times when we cannot offer you an appointment within yourrequired timescale, and will advise you of other options. We are unable to offer a last minute travel vaccination service.

We have a Facebook page - 'like us' to keep up to date with what's happening at Westongrove and other useful health information.

Are you aged 40 or over and not on any treatment? It would be really useful if we could have an up to date blood pressure reading from you. There is no need to make an appointment as we have DIY blood pressure machines in our wiating rooms at Bedgrove Surgery and Wendover Health Centre, that any Westongrove patient can use. Its quick and easy. One you have measured your bp a ticket will print, write your full name and date of birth on it and hand it to the reception team. If the machine is busy and you can't wait, just pop in whenever you are passing.

Care.Data extraction of confidential patient information such as postcode and nhs number will begin in around 8 weeks time. Please see our 'latest news' tab for further information.

We will assume that you wish to use the service unless you tell us in writing that you would prefer not to be included. We can then remove you from the service. Please check with reception that we have your correct mobile number. If you share a mobile number or phone with someone else they may receive your messages, so let us know if anything needs updating.

WHAT IS WESTONGROVE PARTNERSHIP?

Westongrove Partnership comprises Bedgrove Surgery, Aston Clinton Surgery and Wendover Health Centre and was formed in 1998. By working together, rather than as isolated practices, we believe that we can more readily explore potential opportunities, share good practice and develop innovative ways of providing care across the locality.

Each site has a team of GP Partners & Salaried GPs that make up the Doctor team, along with a Nursing team and non--clinical staff. More details can be found under the green tab 'The Team', shown on the left hand menu.

Our aim is to encourage the good health and well-being of our patients by providing the highest standards of healthcare and a diversity of clinics appropriate to the needs of the community. Our highly-skilled, multidisciplinary professional Primary Health Care Team (PHCT) will promote health education and work with patients to achieve a standard of excellence that reflects our commitment to patient care. We  endeavour to ensure that the service we provide is always delivered by the most appropriate member of our PHCT.

We use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We keep it current with any news, developments & details that are relevant to the practice & our patients.
