If you are thinking of travelling abroad and will need travel vaccinations, we require your completed travel assessment form at least 10-12 weeks before you wish to travel. It is very difficult to forecast demand for travel appointments, so whilst we endeavour to accomodate patients requests, there may be very busy times when we cannot offer you an appointment within yourrequired timescale, and will advise you of other options. We are unable to offer a last minute travel vaccination service.

Are you aged 40 or over and not on any treatment? It would be really useful if we could have an up to date blood pressure reading from you. There is no need to make an appointment as we have DIY blood pressure machines in our wiating rooms at Bedgrove Surgery and Wendover Health Centre, that any Westongrove patient can use. Its quick and easy. One you have measured your bp a ticket will print, write your full name and date of birth on it and hand it to the reception team. If the machine is busy and you can't wait, just pop in whenever you are passing.

Bedgrove Surgery & Wendover Health Centre now have DIY Blood Pressure machines in the waiting room thanks to the generous Friends groups. Pop in when you are passing and give them a go to see what your blood pressure is.
FREE text messaging service - we can remind you about appointments, let you know when flu clinics are happening, and other useful info from the surgery. We will assume that you wish to use the service unless you tell us in writing that you would prefer not to be included. We can then remove you from the service. Please check with reception that we have your correct mobile number. If you share a mobile number or phone with someone else they may receive your messages, so let us know if anything needs updating.

Awarding Organistaions make no requirements for pupils to obtain a sick certificate or letter from a Doctor in support of an application for special consideration. See Clinics & Services - Non NHS Charges for further information.
Westongrove offer patients the ability to book an appointment with a GP up to 4 weeks in advance. This means that you can book an appointment more than 2 days in ahead. We are also making adjustments to the appointment system following patient feedback and will be adding an update regarding this in the very near future. Many thanks to all those who take the time to give us their opinion.
Westongrove also offer appointments that can be booked for the next 48 hours for those patients who suddenly feel poorly. These appointments will be with the most appropriate member of our clinical team.
